Japan Dentist

Maybe I was outdated but I was surprised by how well my tooth was fixed by Japan dentist. Whole procedure took less than 10 minutes.

They show me x-ray picture of my tooth before treatment and use mirror to show me the hole of my tooth after the dentist dug a hole in it. Plus detail explanation for every steps.

The best part of it is that they used a thin cloth to cover your whole face except mouth during the treatment. Though I am not sure of its original purpose, but it did help me distress a lot where I can have my eyes opened yet not need to see the dentist digging my tooth.

1 Month Project

We were asked to build an imaginary building in a 5 meter cube.

The design has to be realistic and able to be construct with current technology.

Thickness of wall has to be 15 cm and there is no restriction other than that.

After struggling a month to come up with an idea to build something within this limited space,

finally I completed it today.

Here I would like to present....

BEACHAUS

Image if you were in a tropical island near the beach. Under the hot blazing sun, you could smell the salty water and hear the sea wave padding the beach. There were kids building sand castle, surfers riding the waves, swimmers snorkeling in the surface of sea and people who sleep in the shade of coconut tree and beach umbrella. The evening was filled with life.

When sun went down, night was silence and sea was calm. People were back to where they were, having dinner and go on bed. And the day ended.

But what if...

There was a beach bar at the beach where a joyful bartender would perform a splendid bar stunt and serve you a tropical island drink. You could lay back on the a comfortable vine chair and chat with your friends. There were people come from all around the globe, who were strangers at the day, friends at the night. Then, music was on and all people in the bar sang, danced, and drank. Night was lively again.

We Need Not to Know the Truth: An Idea Opposed to Common Idea

Scientist believes human is born with great degree of curiosity.
However, how true does this to be?

Human seek reason and explanation.
But we tend to accept a reason more easily than posting a question.
We would only question when the reason is contradict to what we know.

Each human has his own reasoning system.
It need not be the truth, as long as the system could function.
Unexplainable things (Errors) are ignored and not treated seriously.
Error is not weighted by quantity but quality.
Only serious error could shake our belief.
Once a serious error occurr, we are at loss and uncertain of ourselves.
In order to not losing, we tend to defend our reasoning system.
We would defend it physically or mentally or both ways.
By physically, we walk away from opposing ideas or hurt the others.
By mentally, we ignore the error and deny the truth.

Human only need one reasoning system.
He could live up with that till his grave.
Regardless of how a reasoning system function,
it wouldn't affect him psychologically as long as it works.

In conclusion, human need not to know the truth.

Isn't it wonderful?

Selfishness & Selflessness

All act are both selfishness and selflessness.
The fundamental principal is the same for selfishness and selflessness.
The only difference between these two words is the observing object (reference object)

'An act of selfishness to one is an act of selflessness to other, and in the converse, an act of selflessness to one is an act of selfishness to other.'

Example,
Case A
2 families members were on an expedition trip. During the trip, snowstorm occurred. They sought for a shelter and found a cave. After days passed, food of family A ran out but the weather haven't turned well. Family B got four members and two biscuits. Mother of family B wanted their two children to have it. However, father of family B insisted to give one to family A. Then, an argument broke out.

In this case, the beneficial party of decision of mother B is their children. Her decision is considered to be selfless to her children but selfish to father B and family A. In the contrast, the beneficial party of decision of father B is family A (although family B still has one biscuit, their having would be deduced from two to one) His decision is considered to be selfless to family A but selfish to his other family members (to act without considering their children).

Case B,

'Observing object is not limited to human being. It could be other living beings or even a thought, religion, and so on.'

In the ancient days, sacrifices were offered to God. In village A, people were arguing about who would offer his goat to their God. Farmer A volunteered to make the offering. All villagers were happy.

In this case, the beneficial party is their religion and whole community. Hence his act is selfless to them. However, what about the pity goat? His act is selfish to the goat because he took its innocent life. Goat might think that "Why not offered your life instead of mine, your God might be more willingly to accept it."

Despite of these two cases, you may examine any other cases from various point of views. You may find that every act involves gaining and losing of various party. The losing party would always consist the act to be selfish while the winning party would always consist the act to be selfless.

Case C,
In the same scenario with Case B, if farmer A offered his own life instead of his goat, was he selfless?

Depending on observing object, it cannot be concluded as selfless. His act would be selfless to his community and his goat but might not be selfless to his family or even himself. If he believed in his God and believed God would bring him to a better place other than Earth, his act was considered to be selfish to himself. Besides, by leaving behind his responsibility as a father of a his family and a child of his mother, without considering their emotions and lives without him, his act was selfish to them.

In addition,

'If a person act in his own will, his act is always considered selfish.'

Regardless of how many effort an action taker spent and how many people are benefited by his act, as long as you takes the action taker as the observing object, his act is always selfish to himself because he acts in his own interest (his own will)

Hence,

'Never should anyone deny being selfish, because everyone is'

However, remind you that there are different depth of selfishness. In my personal point of view, it would be always better if you spending more effort in actions that would benefit more involved parties other than you alone.

In conclusion,

'No one should argue or judge an act to be selfish or selfless. However, one could argue about who would be the beneficial party.'

Have been keeping myself busy for quite a while. Trying to build up my own online business and pushing myself towards many ends. Such as getting myself to know Christian missionary to learn about religion, teaching an mid-aged business women English to relearn English, and so on. In term of business, after many pushing and trying, finally my business is growing explosively last weekends when I received requests from few resellers. However, at the time, I failed to keep up with the speed and lost track of my records. I was lost.

During my lost period, I did my own accounting. Start a habit to write my account book by using freeware. To retrace my spending and earning. Then, I used Microsoft Word to make a new order request list, payment list, order form, etc for deal management. After spending hours and days in front of my computer, I success to reorganize my deal as well as myself. But, I am still lost.

In business world, my desire of earning is growing bigger. Even though I started with slogan as Fast, Cheap, Transparent and able to maintain it till this day. By spending hours and earning little, my living and physical body starts complaining. By facing the greedy and demanding customers, my poor soul is tired and corrupted. Customers' innocent mind and ridiculous demand makes me cry. Even the most reasonable and considerable customers, they would demand for something from time to time.

This business keeping my world small by consuming most of my time and limiting my activity such as reading. In the contrast, it enlarging my view by letting me to know more about trends, laws, people, international trade system, copy-right issues, etc. Never do I realize how serious is the authentic and fake items issues till I start my Jeans Business. 99% of jeans are fake even in Japan.

In my initial objective, this business is created to build my experience in this business world. If possible, make the system free from my ruling and act independently in order to increase my passive income. First objective is a success, second is not yet known as there is still much to be done.

However, during my lost, I start to doubt. In my deepest heart, I know the end of my road. What I trying to accomplish now is to finance me in the future when I start involving myself in Educational Field. I love children and education from the beginning and this love would never fade. Not that I like our Malaysia Education System or Japan's one. Both are examples of failure in my eyes. There is much to be done, more to be improved. There is more than thousands method I would like to experiment in new education. But the question is how?

Today, my doubt is shall I start the education revolution now or after I able to survive independently from my parents, support my family, and finance my new education system. In my opinion, education should be free and active. It should be equal as everyone in the community should be able to receive this new education. It should involve not only children but adults as well. Various course shall be designed specially, some categorized by ages, some by level of knowledge, and so on. The Learning Annex (US company) has one of my ideal education system for working groups. It is one of the system I would like to bring it into Malaysia. There is just so much to be done, I cannot be able to do this alone. Hence, I need training ground for new educators and revolutionist as well. All this and that ideas facing a same problem. Money.

In education, passion is an essential elements. Nothing can start without passion. However, passion of a single person is limited. Hence, people is needed as the force to spread passion. However, passion and ideas of each person is different and most the time, its good intention is twisted as it travels far from the source. Hence, system is introduced to keep the variation small and make sure the 100th person learn the same thing as what the 1st person learned. However, this whole process is slow if there is no money as catalyst. Money shall be used to maintain the system and help spreading it.

My current online business has no problem in any senses but it lacks of purpose and that's why I am lost. At first, I aim to use this business to improve the international trading between small resellers of Japan and Malaysia. And help any individuals who wish to purchase Japan product directly instead of paying Malaysian middleman who usually charges twice or triplet of original price (I feel it is ridiculous for sky rocketing price, and unreasonable to bear with) However, during this lost, my original purpose was shook. It makes me feel meaningless as I personally support the idea of buying local products after learned Japan economic history and their method to push their country into one of the strongest nation. Plus, dealing with purposeless resellers or so-called profit hunters make me sick. I import the items cheaply for them but they sell it expensively. It goes against my first principle as I intended to ease the burden of Malaysian buyers. For example, total cost of a product is RM 82, my earning is RM 8, the reseller sell it for RM 140 ++. And the funniest thing is, he would demand for cutting cost, discount, faster delivery, etc while he personally delaying my payment, never giving me a feedback or comments in my websites (although been requested politely for twice) , not allow me to publish the contents of his purchase (publishing what a service provider is selling is common in that forum). These behaviors disgusted me. Haiz, what a world.

But what shall I do? Even if I stop this business and start another one, people would go to my system loopholes and exploits it as it is how human behaving (It is like solving a math question, people tends to find their own way to get the answer) If I don't start one, there is no income in order to be financially independence. And, my younger brother would be attending Univerisity next year. If I work, time-consumed for working is equals to having a business for yourself, and part-time hardly teach a thing. The most you learned from part-time is the mechanism of how a society functions. If I don't think and solve this method, I just evade the question I should face one day.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first broadcast of the "Mobile Suit Gundam" animated television series, an 18-meter-tall, "full scale" Gundam statue is currently being built at Shiokaze Park in Tokyo's Odaiba.

My POV
I am pleased to receive a wedding card from any friend of mine but I doubt I would like to send one to any of you. Never did I oppose marriage of others, however I refuse to have one in the old way. Love stands for me only when a couple is true to one another. If they are true, nothing could separate them even without a certificate. If one of them aren't, marriage ends with divorce or silence. Then, why married?

Once, there is a boy named John who lived in the countryside of a Great City. John was university first year student who major in architecture and wished to be a world-renowned architect as his father did. He would like to own a city development company and manage his people to build the Babylon skyscraper and Hanging Garden of new era. However, there was a great setback in his personalities which made this dream seemed impossible. He was passive and found no interest in knowing a new friend or calling the known one. He was more or less, anti-socialist.

He did try to talk to his classmates, his teachers, or even the school janitors to find a common topic within them. But it failed. Perhaps he did not try as hard as he could or maybe he was born to behave like that. He heard words from the others like a student to a teacher. The words flow through the brain, one ear in, and one ear out. He could easily forget his newly friend’s name in a blinking of eyes even he was told about it thrice. After that, he would be too shy to ask for the friend’s name again. Hence, he never truly knows his friends. How ironically it is.

John loved to be alone in his room. In the contrast, he hated to be alone in a party. You might notice how strange a person could be, for him who was lonely but refused to befriend with his fellow classmates. And he thought of that too.

He used to think how one should live his life and if the happiness is the ultimate goal of life, how to define one’s happiness from another. “I could never be satisfied to die before I learn the true meaning of life” He thought. Some of his so-called friends told him that living in the present and to be content to what you have would bring you the true happiness. While Gary denied the idea and stated, “By improving yourself constantly so you are better than yesterday. You might not find the happiness but you are ALIVE!”

Various thought and ideas he heard, he read, stated the different point of views around the globe. He was confused and became unsure of himself.

John might never be able to find the answer before the Judgment Day of his, but he knew he could never give up. As a famous proverb stated,

“A man is failed only if he gave up or dead”

Like millions of intelligent living, he continued his journey.

OUR DEAL

There was a night, I could barely hear a heavy footstep approaching my secret sanctuary. Was it a missing lamb or the bear of wood seeking for shelter?

In past ten years, I have never met a single man nor talked to them. This man sat down before of me, and remained in deep silent. He was a handsome old man, who wearing a black-colored hat, silver glasses and Japanese traditional cloth, Kimono. I would like to tell him that it is the weirdest clothing I have seen over past centuries, but I couldn`t. Not in my current condition. I have nothing to eat for years but the straws and leaves that bring me close enough by the gentle gust.

Just when I trying to figure a way to make contact with him, I found myself being stuffed with woods. Yes, wood! I meant I never taste it for years. It made me felt alive!

`Yummy!`

The man in front of me was frightened like a lamb seeing a lion. He was almost paralyzed and shaking violently. He cannot even make a stand.

`Pardon me, my friend. I am Calcifier, the master of the stove. Welcome to the Shelter in Wood.`

I gave him a blaze to light up the place and show him my sincereness. He seemed to be calmed and ready to listen. Then I told him my thankfulness for the wood and would be honourable to grant him a wish in return.

He laughed.

He laughed with tears coming out from his eyes; all I could remember is that he was sobbing in the next seconds. He told me how miserable his life was. He failed in his business and lost his company. His friends and family betray him and left him without a penny other than the cloth he was wearing. He would like to start another company again, but he was aged and feeling weak. That`s no way I could fix his life. He sobbed.

Then, I smiled.

I smiled like the hope and the brightest star in the sky. I said, `We could make a contract. Under this contract, If you fed me a piece of lumber, I could make you a day younger. ` I cleared my throat and asked, `Deal or not?`

And, you guess.

SIGN OF CHANGE

That day onwards, the old man would pick up his axe, went to the forest on the mountain in the early morning. There, he cut down the trees and collected bunches of trunks. At night, he would pay me a regular visit, fed me with lumbers and made sure I am doing fine. Usually, he told me what happened on that day and who has he met while feeding me.

Then, one day he complained the harshness of his life and a person named, `Economy` who was not doing fine and led to many cases of suicides and robberies. He told me that he owed a lot of money to the local bank, and if he couldn`t pay them by tomorrow, he would be forced to sale his company. Thus, I asked, `Why don`t you feed me another piece of lumber so I could grant you a wish?` And, he did.

Another day, he turned to me in the evening and told me a girl who he wanted to get married with. How she sang a melody of love and danced like butterfly. He could not sleep well ever since he met her. It was all because of love. I guessed I would never understand why. Thus, I asked him why `Why don`t you feed me another piece of wood so I would cast a spell on that beautiful girl to make her falling in love with you?` And, he did.

Days passed, the man didn`t pay me a visit for months. Luckily, the storage still has enough woods for me to prolong my life. I almost forget him if he was not turning out on that day. On that day, he dressed smartly and never looks the same. He was nobody the day I met him, but right now he was doing great in his career and was the leading man in his field over the globe. However, something told me he was not satisfied.

Hence, I asked, `Is there anything wrong? `

`No, no, no, it`s going all wrong. I am not fine at all. I has money, I has women, but there is something left and I don`t know what it is. ` He kept mumbling and grumbling by himself until one point, he suddenly shouted, `Yes, that`s it. I want power! A man without power is nothing as nobody in human history. Calcifer, I demand what I worth for. Grant me the power of ruling the world`

Without waiting for my reply, he grabbed a bunch of lumbers and stuffed them into my mouth. His wish was granted and he left.

The man never shows up again.

LAST LUMBER

This winter broke the record of century. It reached minus 30 degree Celsius without an upfront warning. Wild animals and trees have been freeze to death. The lumber in the storage was getting lesser and lesser. Weeks passed; there was no sign of spring.

On the so-called `Christmas Day` that celebrated by human beings, there is the last piece of lumber in the storage. I gulped it and waited for the moment to come. Then, all in a sudden, a deadly wind breezed through me, soaked out my last breath and placed a full stop in my life.

Without life, my casted spell was broken.

欲張る男

真っ暗の闇の中で、炉に僅かな（わずか）火が燃えていた。ある年上の男が炉の前に帽子をそばに置いて座っていた。その男はメガネを掛けて、日本の伝統的な着物を着、下駄（げた）を履いていた（はく）。男の周りに、山ほどの木材が積んであった。それは彼がこの一年に毎日山で木を伐って集めた木だそうだ。長く嘆いたら、男は炉に住んでいるカルシファーという忠実な火の精霊と話し始めた。

「偉い精霊様、わしの願いを聞いていただけませんか。わしはある商売に失敗しました。この世はお金がなければ生活を営む（いとなむ）ことができません。この木の換わりに、無限の金を下さい。」

男は一個木材を炉に入れた。一瞬で彼はウォーレン・バフェット（warren buffet)より世界一のお金持ちの人になった。

「全能な精霊様、わしの悩みを聞いていただけませんか。お金があっても、一人で暮らすことは寂しくてたまりません。わしはこっそり隣村（りんそん）のある若い少女が好きになりました。どうしても、彼女と暮らしたいです。この木をお受け取りください。」

男が一個木材を炉に入れたとたん、彼女は魔法（まほう）の影響で彼を好きになった。

「精霊や精霊、わしの難問を聞いていただけませんか。美しい少女が妻になってもわしもう人生の半ば（なかば）すぎだ。欲しくても力が足りません。この木をあげる代わりに、わしを若くしてくだいませんか。」

男は一個木材を炉に入れるや否や、二十四歳の若者になった。しかし、彼の欲は底がなさそうだった。

「おれの精霊、この世に権力がないと他の人からいじめられるようだ。そのため、世界の統治権が欲しい。」

今回、この欲張る男はいくつか木材を炉に入れてしまった。火はどんどん燃えたあげく周りの木材も燃やしてしまった。男は世界の統治者なったが、火災から逃げられないから、結局、亡くなった。

I Dreamt : Finale

In a fine normal Saturday, we found this magical carpet in the storeroom. It was thought to be just another old rug at the beginning. When we were about to discard it, it turned out alive. It made noise, it danced, and it flied.

13 of us climbed onto it and traveled to the wonders of world. It
brought us the moon and stars. Flying likes a wild horse, we could
hardly get a glimpse of the scene.

After the wholesome flight, we reached the edge of world where
he endless-height wall stood. The magic carpet stopped in front of
a giant gate and dropped us politely.

It lead us to Sora, the keyblade master who guarded the gate
for millionth of years. Along with his friends Donald and Goffy,
he had his wildful adventure at our age. Sora agreed to open the
gate of Disney.

Before we entered the tunnel, Merlin, the great wizard who
assisted King Arthur in old England, warned us that the risk for
a human being to enter the world. He chanted an unspoken spell
on us and explained that the blessing could only stand untill the
ten of night.

`If you couldn`t left the world before that, the way back to home would be locked forever.`

Then, we walked closely and followed one by one. We entered the
Disney`s Tunnel.

Inside the tunnel, it was as dark as the moonless night, you
couldn`t even see your hand. We stuck to the wall and moved
forward with anxiety, yet, exciting steps.

`Listen, I could hear the lively music on the air.` Xiao Hua, the leading one, said in a low voice.

`Me too`, `So do I`, we exchanged the joy to one another.

The music was resonating in the tunnel and grew louder every
steps we took. At the end of tunnel, we saw what no man have
seen. It was indescribable in words and languages. We were at
the center of the universe where Universe Spaceport built on.

Countless spaceships were docking or leaving. There were Captain
Hook`s Pirate Ship, Atlantis`s Stone Fish, Whitmore Wings, ...

We wondered around the port`s inn to look for someone who could
give us a ride and scanning through each notice boards for the
recuiting issues. We came upon a wanted list of the villains, Chip &
Dale who fired water cannon on everyone they came across, a
treasure hunt expedition in a new found Aztec`s Temple notice,
Sebastian`s restaurant Under The Sea advertisement but no
recuiting issues.

Just when we were about to give up, we met Captain Nemo and were
invited to board his Nautilus.

We departed from port and went far to the West. Traveled with the
light of speed, we reached a planet of no land but sea in an instant.
In legend, it was told to be the homeland of sea creatures. All of
their ancestors were originated from this seabed.

After all crews away from deck, Nautilus submerged into twenty
thousand leagues under the sea. We were took to the secret sanctuary

of the sea creatures, the Triton`s Kingdom.

The world under the sea was almost beautiful. We got a urge to sing.

Suddenly, Little Fish interrupted the song and shouted,
`Hey, looks there is Sebastian`s Caltpso Kitchen!`

`I doubt Sebastian is on the plate again` Mei Ling laughed.

Captain Nemo introduced us his best friend, Triton, the ruler of this
Kingdom. Triton welcomed us with his open arms, and invited us
to have a plentiful meal with his daughters.

On journey to his palace, we were accidentally sucked by a furious
spatial whirlpool. Captain Nemo and Triton tried to gripped our hands
but failed.

Once we regained our consciousness, we were in a stranger place, Arabia.

The locals told us that the kingdom was in celebration. They
reclaimed their peace recently in the battle of their new king, Aladdin
and the evil sorceress Jaafar.

To find out a way back, we went to the crowdest marketplace and
asked around. Luckily, we found an expedition team lead by Indiana
Jones from Spaceport. His team was on their adventure to Lost River
Delta, in South America to hunt the Crystal Skull. We were invited
to tag along in our own favor. We got no reason to reject his offer.

Along the way, Jones shared with us his previous adventure
experiences. He have been to India, explored the Temple of Doom,
retrieved golden idol from an ancient temple in Peruvian Jungle
and looking for the Holy Grail in Germany. This was his fourth
expedition.

While exploring the Temple of Crystal Skull, we came across life and death. After dug out the crystal, Jiang Hang activated the traps mistakenly. In our escape, we bumped into Jones` jeep and accelerated across a bridge. The massive skull shot beams from its eye at the bridge, attempted to destroy it. In our luck, the transport safely makes it across in time.

`We`re safe at this point` Jones gasped.

BOOM!

Out of sudden, we were ambushed by the chipmunk brothers, Chip & Dale who have followed us along the way in the shadow. They aimed to rob the crystal from us and sold it to the black market in exchange for acorns. They fired their water cannon furiously aiming on our vehicle.

`Damn it, we were out of gas! Abandon the jeep!`

`Hey, we shield ourselves there!` Xiao Hua pointed at an old castle at the hilltop.

In our despair, we found wall cannons but they were either broken or rusted. We have no chance to fight back.

`Ha, you cannot hide there forever. Hand over the crystal and you shall live!` the Chip threaten on us.

`Or you could just take the flying machine, our cannon can never reach its height` said Dale idiotically.

`Oh, no. You, this idiot. how could expose our weakness.` Chip chopped Dale`s head.

Here is our chance, let`s go! We quickly reactivated the old-time flying machine and escaped when the great villains, Chip & Dale were having their internal argument.

Considered ourselves to be lucky, we somehow crashed our machine into the highest floor of the infamous Tower of Terror in New York. Jones explained that the hotel`s owner was mysteriously disappeared in 13 years earlier. Now, the New York City Preservation Society has finished restoring the landmark hotel and has started giving tours to the public.

`So it is just another hotel, nothing to be scared.` Alex mocked See Jia, who was trembling terrifying.

`Everybody alright?`

`Seem likes the elevator was malfunctioning.`

`Let me fix it. Chee Hang, get me the torchlight.`

`Don`t hold me so tight, See Jia. I hardly breath.`

`But I am scared.`

`I got it, here you go.`

`See, nothing to be sssscccccaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrr...`

It was a miracle I be alive and told you this story. At that moment, we heard the evil laughing and the elevator fall with a great speed. It landed on the hard ground in a second. We were faint and lied on the ground for hours.

If I recalled correctly, I was on the S.S. Columbus docking off from New York to Universe Spaceport in the next second. Jones was gone elsewhere. How we got there remains as a mystery. We devoted ourselves to be a temporary sailors to help the ship sail back to the port.

When we reached there, the Universe Spaceport looks different. It was like we have pass through the gate of time and traveled to the Tomorrowland. Captain Hook`s Pirate Ship was replaced by Storm Rider. A Weather Control Tower was built in the middle of port.

We met an insane named Wilbur Robinson at the port who claimed that it was 2037. `Twenty nine years from now? No way`

`Oh my god! Oh my god! I could hear the bell, it is ten. We must hurry before the gate is shut. Else we would be trapped forever in this world`

Have you been ever played a game of building a tower out of blocks? Yes, I used to play it with my younger brother, relatives, and friends. We competed among ourselves to top the others. We built it with jingle pieces, trump cards, or video cases. The whole experience was fun and exciting. You have to draft a shape in your mind, plot a structure to have your tower stand still and build it, with your hands. Yes, this makes the game worthwhile.

As I grown, although I didn’t planned to build neither Paris Eifel Tower nor Malaysia Twin Tower this time, I was proud to tell everybody that it is a house I want to build. Not taller than Taipei 101 Tower, not larger than Beijing Bird`s Nest, not as unique as Egypt Pyramids, but must be the dearest place for its resident. A home, sweet home.

Here I am, in Japan. Intend to study Architecture, as no other places could fulfill my almost desire. The knowledge surrounds environment, energy, natural disaster, living space, structure, and so on. I wish to know various fields and as much knowledge as possible, then apply them in my future works. In order to build a home of YOURS.

This morning I purposely paid a visit to Meiji University to get the application form for entrance examination. At the foreign center hall, I felt I have been treated unfairly by the young attendant`s attitude.

In Japan, there is lots of form and complicated procedures you have to go through to apply for anything especially in education field. It costs time and money. For university entrance examination, every university come out with their own rule and regulation documents to guide you in filling the form. It includes personal information, economy background along with bank letter and tax papers, resume, letter from teachers, school results, essays and essays and essays. You might need to translate the documents that is written in other languages to Japanese then certified them at Malaysian embassy.

To avoid, to and fro for times, I checked through the forms I received and asked only three simple questions. However, the first reply I got was that `have you read the manual word by word` (the manual about 40 pages) Obviously, it is impossible to be done on one morning. At the bright side, I still got the answer I want as I pressed on. But, she kept stressing the read-it-yourself part and discouraged me to ask for details.

Soon, I cannot stand it for more, I left. When I got my bag and walked out, she seemed doing nothing but sitting in front computer. I doubted what she was hired for in foreigner information service department. Lack of passion, plus where is her SMILE?

It is not about this!

It`s not Ripley`s Believe It Or Not but a crazy thing I did in a peaceful day.

I expressed my feeling towards a girl and gave her a small bundle of roses in front of the class during the speech test. Everyone was surprised and teachers smartly called up a break to soften the atmosphere. The girl, of course went out to take the fresh air to reclaim her mind. Friends, almost all encouraged me and felt proud for me while some disagreed with me silently, among them was one of my best friend. Teachers, they seemed like enjoying it as I apologized and chatted with them later. One knew that to be happened as she had saw my flower and helped me to hide it.

The girl, a Malaysian who came here at the same plane with me. She is strong in her will as she seemed extraordinary calmly when delivered her speech straightly after mine. She did not intend to avoid me or just make an instant reply but answered me honestly at the same night that she would like to drag this matter for awhile. We chatted and joked as usual as we did in my room. That`s why I loved her so much that I took such approach.

Not saying that I am gambling in a dice throw as I had confessed to her personally in one-on-one situation beforehand. She made no promise or reply but smiling sweetly whenever I touched the line. She seemed happy and loved that, however, she played safely and took everything out from me. She told me similar thing had happened to her last time, she never know how to act upon it. I guess I have to continue on to try my best and buy her time.

That`s bad jokes back then being told among my friends at the time she came to my room every night, just chatting and doing homework. When I lied, it sounds unfair to her. Thus, I decided to make it straight and public. Not about our relation, but my feeling.

That`s here I am for another day, fighting for my future and love in Japan.

Somebody Bday

My friend, Xin was having her 19th birthday this Thursday, Jun 19. After the class, eight of us went straight to a nearby Karoake and celebrated there. Among of us, there were people came from South Korea, Philipines, China, and of course, Malaysia.

We ordered all kinds of weird drinks and `sang` with the best we could do. Suprisingly, you could get all type of songs there. For example, Korean drama themes, Philipine popular songs, and even Jay Chow and Xue You`s one. All the subtitles included the original languages and Japanese Furigana. The birthday girl, Xin and one of the Korean girl, Hye Chong were able to sing so well that their voice worth the claps we gave.

About the birthday cake, it was bought by one of us at Ginza (I guess) where one acres of land costs more than billion. It was chocolate favour with strawberries on the top of it and it tastes NICE!

Worth More Than Thousand

Last Monday was the deadliest day I have been going through. Since I woke up, there was thunder storming in my mind, which I couldn`t get out of my head. I hardly concentrated during Japanese lectures. Thus, I skipped my afternoon class and slept under a shady tree in a nearby garden. When I got back to my dormitory, a small package from America delighted my day. It was shipped by FexEx and was ordered online a week ago.

The Cashflow Game & Its Additional Version 202

The first time I was introduced to the game was during One-Day Pilot event in Inti last time. Although I have noticed it long before in board game section but never got a chance to play until then. The game is priced between RM250 - 400 in Malaysia.

It teaches a series of financial concepts and states the fundamental way of becoming financially freedom. The game involves easy-understanding real estate and stock market. It helps you to differenciate asset and liability as asset puts money into your pocket and liability takes it out from your pocket. Although it sounds simple, through games, I found out that many people lack of the financial intelligence, FI which might lead them to great debt in the future.

With the advance level of the game set and transportation fee, it costs me more than RM 1,000, but I feel it worthing more.

Last Saturday, the sky was dull and cloudy. It rained for whole day long. Our Seibu area host families held a welcome party in a rented hall which located at Ikebukuro on six o`clock. About fifteen of us attended the party, over half were Malaysian. There were over 30 different dishes prepared by our host mothers, included Vietnam and Russia food. We ate, we sang, we talked. The party over before 9 pm since some of us stay quite far from there. It was a wonderful night.

My Host Family

Hokaido Honeydrew the most expensive fruit in Japan

This evening, about 82 foreigners going to meet their host family at ochanomitsu. And I am in.

About one month ago, my friends and I went there to fill in the form and were interviewed by two Japanese women. We have been informed that if there are too many applicants, they will pick randomly. It took quite a while for the run, till last week, i received an invitation letter along with my gaasan`s photo (gaasan, refer to mother in Japanese) I was selected. `YES!`

Today, after the welcoming ceremony, we have been divided into few groups according to our host family address. Different groups have different activities since not all of them could afford us to the Tokyo Dome Hotel. Some having ice breaking games, some having afternoon tea together, and I was taken back to my host family house to have my dinner there.

My gaasan, is a warm and kind women who has two children, one boy, one girl, both are thirties now, and one four years old granddaughter. Besides me, she has totally adopted more than two foreigner. The earliest one is a Thai government supported student, about eighteen years ago. The one before me is a Taiwanese lady, shall meet her next weekend in the party. `Yeah, we got a party!`

My tousan (father) is far more friendly than I expected when I entered his house. By the time, he was watching a baseball match and seems like no business to deal with me. Luckily, I was wrong. Nice to have him as a japanese father. He works an accountant and has his own office that located besides his house. He is his own boss.

At uchi (home), we chatted and exchanged information about our culture and country. Gaasan oderred sushi set delivery for each of us since I told her I haven`t taken sushi in Japan. Well, she has cooked some dishes beforehand, I don`t know that till they were put on the table. Believe me, I was stuffed.

We have Hokaido honeydrew, which is given by tousan no friend, as the dessert. It is quite a special fruit, as you see, the skin of the fruit is like a piece of art, when you touch it, you could feel the white strip. Moreover, the taste is the sweetiest compared to other species. (Too sweet by the way) The weirdest part is, the fruit likes a solid liquid. You couldn`t chew it since it melts in your mouth like ice cream. Well, I guess that`s the reason why it got to be the most expensive fruit in Japan. It is a potentially large market in Japan for people who couldn`t chew any longer, the wealthy old folks.

Before I left, I was given a box of alcoholic chocolates, my favourate snack, together with some fruits. Then, gaasan walked me to the nearby train station and got me a ticket.

Really appreciate them for what they have done. I was having a great time. Thanks!

P.S. Our group have a party on next Saturday. All of the parents are going to cook for us, yeah!

`What is the purpose of studying?`

Last December, I read the Rich Dad Series: Rich Dad Poor Dad which was recommended by my housemate. Thanks to him, I was introduced into a new vision of the business world, a fair game which everyone is playing a role in it.

Robert Kiyosaki, who launched Cashflow Technologies, Inc and also the author of Rich Dad Series, has written some important points in his books. Here is a part of it:

A Dream

I had a dream. I dreamt of my secondary school. It had been expanded over nearby area but packed with new buildings included five storey hostels. Like a KL in Kuantan, the land was stuffed.

In dream, I capable to dash and jump from roof to roof like a ninja. I avoided the sight of people, hid in the speed of light and unattainable height of sky. When you feel of a sudden gust of wind, it might be I passing through thou.

The night, I was running and jumping. Most of the time, I peeked at people of land. They chatted and smiled to each others. Each time, I felt a great loneliness. Then, I dashed faster and jumped to a new height.

When I woke up, I kept thinking. Is his personality created his capability or his capability created his personality.

Today, I keep challenging myself to a new level of sky. At the same time, I lose interests of what others do. Our pathes have led us away. I really don`t know how to share with them.

P.S. I started to read books of business and investment recently. Wanna to get a start in business instead of studying.

Six After Seven

Started from last Thursday, each of us have fifteen minutes to have an one-on-one talk with our Japanese lecturer after class. It was my turn yesterday.

I was the last one on the day. I opened the door and entered the classroom politely, there were just me and she. She began by asking the origin of my nick, how is the studies, and followed by what I plan to do in near future.

I explained to her that I wish to be involved in the environmental-friendly construction field. It was then I received a `what I not going to do it` suggestion. Self-study for six hours per day after seven hours of class. Not going anywhere during weekend or doing part-time before enter an university. Ano toki, watashi wa bikurishimashita.

It showed the mindset of the Japanese. Sacrifice for the `never coming` future, something `good` or else. Kamikaze no Ishi, which flows in their vein and passed down from one generation to another generation.

Life should be a joyful one, there is never been tomorrow.

Just when I thought the sakura season is going to over, there are these special one in front of my stay, which wake up late. They have delighted my days and many others`. Hope it does the same to YOU!

I have received many requests for asking how is the life in Japan. Without much pictures, I doubt I could tell you much.

Here, people believe in manners and respect. No matter which shop you walk into, everyone bow and express their welcome; when you walk out, they bow and express their thank although you might just go in and out within seconds, buying nothing. However, I have witnessed a case that a pregnant women standing in train while no one willing to give away their seat.

The currency used here mostly coins. There are ranging from one yen to five hundred yen, which is about RM 15. It is quite troublesome to carry these coins in my pity wallet. It could be easy stuffed.

The most interesting part is the differences in the restaurants. For most of them, you walk in and queue up in front of a vending machine. Until your turn, just insert coins and select the food you want to have. Then, collect the changes and draw the ticket or receipt from the machine. Next, you pass the ticket to the waiter then they will serve it to you. The water is free. However, they serve only cold water even in these winter days. It`s not uncommon that the place provides no seat. You just take your food while standing.

Around these time, Japan is a dry, cold country although the winter is over. The temperature ranging from 9 degree Celsius to 18 degree Celsius in Tokyo area. Sun rises in the early morning and the dark comes about four afternoon everyday.

At my place, sakura session has past. It is quite unbelievable to observe the sakura trees in front of my stay changing its dress overnight. Now, the branches are dressed with new young leaves. Have to wait until next year for Ohanami. There is a common proverb in Japan, which describing the people who eat, sing, and chat during ohanami rather than enjoying the view of sakura blossom.
